Preparing Pets for Evacuation seminar

A$0.00

Join us for a special seminar aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of your furry (and scaly!) friends.

Date: Sunday 5th May
Time: From 1pm - 4pm
Where: Emerald Hub, 400A Belgrave-Gembrook Rd, Emerald

Whether you have dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, or poultry, this event is for you! Our facilitator Jari Castle will dive into essential topics like how to prepare your pets for emergency situations, including what to do during crises. From creating emergency kits to understanding evacuation procedures, we've got you covered.

While we'll focus on dogs and cats, we'll also set aside time to discuss ways to prepare other pets, because every member of the family matters! Fish, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and poultry owners, we've got tips tailored just for you.

Please note: This seminar won't cover early fire plan activations, such as leaving the Ranges on Extreme/Catastrophic days before fires start. Instead, we'll concentrate on practical steps to take care of your pets during emergencies. Jari will have her pooch to demonstrate but attendees are asked not to bring pets along to the event.

Got questions about your livestock or equines? While the seminar won't specifically cover these topics, all questions are welcome from attendees!

Don't miss this chance to ensure the safety and happiness of your beloved pets. Mark your calendars and join us for an informative and fun-filled event!
