First Aid HLTAID 011 Course

This course would normally cost $160, but thanks to the Yarra Ranges Council community grant, Mums of the Hills is able to provide this important certified first aid course at a fraction of the price.

This 3 hour course teaches the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies and provide a first aid response to a casualty in a range of situations.

Suitable for people in workplaces and members of the public who require a comprehensive first aid course. Previously known as HLTAID003, Senior First Aid, Workplace Level 2, and Apply First Aid. Includes CPR.

The course topics include:

• the DRSABCD action plan and responding to emergency situations,

• cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR),

• burns,

• asthma,

• anaphylaxis,

• sprains and strains.
