Local Health Services & Health Check Lists
We’re helping you get your health back on track.
This page of resources is thanks to the work completed through the Check Me Out project. With an emphasis on ME, (i.e. check ME out for looking after my health), the Check Me Out project was a major women’s health initiative co-delivered by Mums of the Hills, Women’s Health East and Phoenix Australia Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health at the University of Melbourne.
Through this project, research was conducted to learn the barriers to preventative health activities for women in our area. Checklists and service cheat sheets were created to reduce the mental load of thinking about your health. Finally, services were mapped through the four regions of the Yarra Ranges Shire Council. While mapped services may change without us knowing, we hope the resources provide a useful first step to getting your preventative health activities back on track.
Check YOU out for being proactive in recognising your health and wellbeing needs.

If scrolling isn’t your thing, feel free to download the lists of services below. Please note that due to changes in services provided in our area, these may have incorrect information after some time. We’ll do our best to keep them current but as a volunteer service, can’t guarantee a quick update.
