Relevant policies and procedures for Mums of the Hills Inc.

Our policies apply in slightly different ways depending on the ways you interact with MOTHs Inc.

We’ve got a simple statement against each policy so you know which ones you need to understand.

  • The MotHs Child Safety Policy outlines our commitment to creating a safe, supportive and protective environment for children and young people involved in any MotHs activities. It sets clear expectations for volunteers, staff and committee members to uphold child safety principles, report concerns promptly, and follow appropriate conduct at all times.

    This policy applies to everyone working or volunteering with MotHs, especially in situations where children are present, participating, or may be indirectly affected by our programs.

  • The MotHs Code of Conduct sets out the expectations for how volunteers, committee members, staff, contractors and participants behave when involved in MotHs activities. It outlines our shared commitment to kindness, integrity, safety, inclusion and respect—both in person and online.

    This Code applies to everyone representing MotHs Inc, including at events, in meetings, when wearing MotHs branding, or participating in online discussions.

  • The Complaints, Concerns & Feedback Policy explains how you can speak up if something doesn’t feel right, or if you’d like to offer suggestions or raise an issue. Whether it’s a concern about behaviour, a suggestion for improvement, or feedback on how we operate, your voice is welcome and important.

    This policy applies to all volunteers, participants and community members, and ensures that every concern is heard respectfully, treated confidentially, and followed up fairly and promptly.

  • The Emblem & Logo Use Policy explains how to use the Mums of the Hills name, logo and visual identity in ways that protect our brand and reflect our values. It sets out clear guidelines for when and how the logo can be used, and ensures that it’s never altered, misused or applied in a way that could confuse, mislead, or harm our reputation.

    This policy applies to all volunteers, committee members, partners and anyone representing MotHs, especially when creating promotional materials, merchandise or social media posts.

  • The Inclusion & Diversity Policy reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming, respectful and safe space for everyone involved with Mums of the Hills. It outlines how we embrace different identities, backgrounds, abilities and experiences, and actively work to remove barriers to participation.

    This policy applies to all volunteers, staff, committee members and participants, and guides us in building a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and supported.
