Help In Trying Times
I think we can all agree that the news has been rubbish all round locally, interstate and globally. Not going to lie, my guts are feeling well and truly kicked and agree with everyone saying it's ok to feel all the feelings.
For me, my thoughts always switch to 'help' mode in these situations. It's the 'glass half full' mode that can either be useful or annoying as hell. Hopefully it's the former. Anyway, I've been doing my search to find ways to help us, our local communities and global compadres and this is what I've gathered. I hope it helps.

This is my way of jazzing up the old online catch up. I thought a Shed would sound more interesting (maybe...?). To be fair it is the people you meet in the shed that will be more interesting than the name. In addition to activity based 'sheds', I want to have specific group meets as well including:
those currently pregnant;
those with newborns, and;
those with teenage kids.

The situation in Afghanistan is absolutely appalling. I can try but couldn't possibly grasp the level of fear Afghan women and girls and the LGBTQIA community would especially be feeling right now. Thank you to Jess Nabb for this shortened version of ways to help.
