Breastfeeding Information Session - Getting a Great Latch

Join us for an interactive and comprehensive discussion about all things to do with getting a great latch when breastfeeding your baby.

Date: Friday 17th May
Time: 10:30am until 12:30pm
Where: MotHs Hub, 6 Hayes Place, Belgrave

Are you a new or expectant parent hoping to breastfeed your new baby? Do you dream of having a beautiful, peaceful, loving, nurturing and close breastfeeding relationship with your baby? Do you hold images of quiet moments spent in blissful bonding, staring into your baby’s eyes as they suckle away contentedly?

But maybe, also… Perhaps you’ve heard horror stories from other new parents of how stressful and difficult breastfeeding can be? Or of excruciating pain, cracked and damaged nipples, blocked ducts or mastitis? And have concerns about being able to make enough milk for your baby?

The secret to helping to prevent all these common breastfeeding problems and realising your breastfeeding hopes and dreams lies in helping your baby to achieve a great latch.

This group discussion will give you practical tips to bring you confidence and make breastfeeding so much easier! This session provides an opportunity for us to share our experiences and support one another in a safe, relaxed and judgement-free space.

You will learn how to latch your baby to the breast;

  • comfortably and effectively

  • without stress

  • without pain or damage to your nipples

  • while avoiding blocked ducts and mastitis

  • to support an abundant milk supply

  • regardless of your prior knowledge or previous experience

  • whether your baby has been born yet or not

All mums are welcome, from pregnancy onwards. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, mixed-feeding, bottle feeding, exclusively expressing or not breastfeeding at all anymore. Babies welcome of course. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to cater for older children.

Price: $30

Choose the Group Sessions option then select the event. Directly after the group session there will be 2 opportunities for attendees to book a 30 minute 1:1 mini consultation with me at a heavily discounted price. Please contact me on 0431 511 566 if you wish to book one of these.
