Hello! I’m Madeleine (Maddie), Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbalist and Acupuncturist and I’m deeply passionate about supporting your mental and physical well being through every stage of your fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum journey. As a member of your health care team, my time with you is focused and detailed. I connect the dots between your symptoms and emotions to support the whole picture of you.
I love giving back in this space, I know how much our bodies can do, what we can come back from and what we can transform into.
My sessions often involve a combination of Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion. My herbs look a little different to the pills and powders you may have used before. Whilst I also have these options, my preference is to provide you with the most traditional form of Chinese Herbal Medicine, raw herbs. These individualised formulas contain between 4 - 16 natural medicinal substances that you cook at home and drink like a tea. No fillers, just herbs as they were designed by nature in specific combinations to achieve synergy and a more powerful effect.
You’ll find me within the beautiful family friendly space at TLC Birth and Beyond in Ferntree Gully amongst many other wonderful practitioners. Treatments may include gentle acupuncture, customised herbal formulas, warming moxibustion, cupping, gua sha — and a comforting cup of tea.
Expect easy parking, pram access into the building and treatment space, a breastfeeding friendly waiting room, and play space for your little ones.
I am a registered practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and AHPRA, a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), and provide private health fund rebates which can be claimed online after your consultation.
