A Woman's Space - Internal Pelvic Release
Hey ladies, I wanted to introduce my work.
My name is Thyme, and I’m a midwife and nurse offering Internal Pelvic Release through my business, A Woman’s Space, in the Belgrave / Belgrave South area and surrounds.
While my background and special interest is in maternity care, this work is for women across many stages of life and many pelvic experiences.
Internal Pelvic Release is gentle, consent-led bodywork that may support women who are preparing for birth, healing after birth, or experiencing pelvic discomfort, painful sex, perineal or caesarean scarring, pelvic tension, difficulty using tampons, vaginismus, vulvodynia, endometriosis, adenomyosis, or a sense that their pelvic space has been affected by trauma, stress, birth or past experiences.
Pregnancy, birth and motherhood can ask so much of the body. The pelvic space can hold tension from pregnancy, birth, scars, stress, trauma, posture, feeding positions, carrying babies, or simply the huge physical and emotional transition into motherhood.
A session may include a chat about what is happening for you, external bodywork, scar release, and — only with clear consent — gentle internal release through the vagina to soften areas of tension in the pelvic tissues.
As a midwife, I bring a deep respect for women’s bodies, birth stories, vulnerability and consent into this work. My aim is to create a calm, private and respectful space where you feel safe, heard and in control. The Internal Pelvic Release bodywork I offer was taught to me by my mentor, Fiona Hallinan, whose guidance continues to shape my practice.
You are very welcome to reach out with any questions.
