Forest Bathing

Join Jodie for an immersive forest experience.

Date: Saturday 18th May
Time: From 10am - 1pm
Where: O'Donohue Picnic Ground, Sherbrooke Forest

Join Jodie for an immersive forest experience where we will stroll through nature and use our senses to connect with the natural world on a deeper level. In doing so, we will also connect with ourselves and each other. Forest Bathing ('Shinrinyoku') is a public health practice that was coined in Japan in 1980's. It uses simple and accessible techniques to connect us with nature whilst improving our mental health and wellbeing, for example reducing stress in our body. This experience will give you the opportunity to slow down and just be in nature. Jodie is a qualified Forest Therapy Guide, with INFTA (International Nature Forest Therapy Association). Jodie uses her love for nature and being immersed in the forest to help you develop techniques that you can take away and practice in your own space and time. Give yourself this time out of your busy routine and join me for a relaxing and nourishing forest walk.

Price: $40
