MotHs Basic Car Maintenance Workshop

Join us for a morning learning the skills to keep your motor humming.

Do you want to be able to keep your car running smoothly? Want to feel confident to ask the questions about your car’s service needs? Better still, want to learn or refresh yourself with how to change a car tyre? This is the workshop for you.

Thanks to KJA-Automotive, MotHs members have an opportunity to learn these skills at a fraction of the cost of workshops elsewhere.

This basic car maintenance workshop will teach you about:

  • Battery, the charging system & understanding symptoms

  • Tyres: changing them, wheel alignments & pressures

  • Replacing wiper inserts

  • Fluid top-ups

  • Baby seats – adjusting car seats

  • Log book servicing

  • Invoicing and services needs.

  • What questions you should ask when speaking with your mechanic

As a family run business (and hills based) they know the logistics for a family being a car down when it is having a service. That’s why they have two loan cars for complementary use. Even better, they can provide pick up and drop off to your house depending on location on the mountain.
